Refund Policy

At Tao Compass, we want you to feel confident in every purchase. This policy outlines our approach to refunds, replacements, and cancellations across all our products and services. If you have any questions, please contact us at support@taocompass.com before making a purchase.


2. Membership

2.1 Cancellation

You may cancel your membership at any time. Upon cancellation, your membership remains active until the end of the current billing period. You will retain full access to all membership features until that date.

2.2 Refunds

Membership fees are non-refundable. We do not issue partial refunds for unused time within a billing period. This applies to both monthly and annual plans.

2.3 Billing Errors

If you believe you have been incorrectly charged, please contact us at support@taocompass.com within 30 days of the charge. We will investigate and issue a correction where applicable.


3. Digital Products

3.1 No Refunds

All digital product purchases — including PDFs, guides, ebooks, and audio meditations — are final and non-refundable once the content has been accessed or downloaded.

3.2 Technical Issues

If you are unable to access or download a digital product due to a technical issue on our end, please contact us at support@taocompass.com and we will resolve it promptly — either by fixing the issue or issuing a refund at our discretion.


4. Physical Products

4.1 No Returns

We do not accept returns on physical products. All physical product sales are final.

4.2 Replacement Policy

We stand behind the quality of our physical products. If your item arrives damaged, defective, or with a manufacturing fault, we will send you a replacement at no additional cost. You keep the original item — no return is required.

To request a replacement:

  • Contact us at support@taocompass.com within 7 days of receiving your order
  • Include your receipt number and clear photos of the damage or defect
  • We will review your request and ship a replacement within a reasonable timeframe

4.3 Wrong Item Received

If you receive an incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days with your order number and a photo. We will send the correct item at no additional cost.

4.4 Lost or Undelivered Orders

If your order has not arrived within a reasonable timeframe beyond the estimated delivery window, please contact us. We will investigate with the carrier and offer a replacement or appropriate resolution.

4.5 Customs and Import Issues

We are not responsible for orders held, delayed, or seized by customs. Customs fees, import duties, and taxes are the buyer's responsibility. Refunds are not issued for orders delayed or affected by customs processes.


5. Ask Laozi — AI Service

Ask Laozi is an AI-powered experience provided as part of your membership. As with all AI services:

  • Refunds are not issued based on dissatisfaction with AI responses
  • The quality, tone, or content of Laozi's responses does not constitute grounds for a refund
  • If you experience a technical issue preventing access to Ask Laozi, please contact us and we will investigate promptly

6. Exceptions

We understand that exceptional circumstances arise. If you believe your situation warrants special consideration outside of this policy, please contact us at support@taocompass.com and we will review your case individually. We reserve the right to issue refunds at our sole discretion in exceptional cases.
